Cajun Pita Chip

Cajun Pita Chip

 four  8" pita rounds
 1 tablespoon of margarine, melted
 1 teaspoon of salt
 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
 1 teaspoon of hot pepper flakes
 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cut pitas in half horizontally. Cut into 4 equal portions. Separate into 32 pieces. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush with melted margarine. Combine salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, pepper flakes, garlic powder and basil in a small bowl. Sprinkle over pita chips. Bake for 10 minutes or until chips become crisp.
