Applesauce Cake 6
2 cups of flour
1 cup of sugar
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
3 teaspoons of cocoa
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1 cup of chopped walnuts
1 1/2 cup of applesauce
1/2 cup of liquid shortening |

Sift dry ingredients together. Add nuts to dry mixture. Then add
applesauce and shortening and stir well. Bake in a lightly greased loaf pan
for 1 hour at 325 - 350ºF.
