Applesauce Raisin Cake
1 egg
1 1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of shortening
1 1/2 cups of applesauce
1 cup of raisins
1/2 cup of nuts
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, cloves & salt
1 teaspoon of soda
2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of vanilla |

Mix as listed. Bake in 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan at 350ºF. for 30 to 35 minutes or bake cupcakes at 375ºF. for 25 minutes. Can frost with powdered sugar frosting if desired.
