Cream Cheese Brownies

Cream Cheese Brownies
 
 1 pkg. Betty Crocker Super Moist German Chocolate Cake Mix
 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
 1 egg
 1/2 c. sugar
 1/2 c. milk chocolate chips

Instructions:

Heat oven to 350ºF.  Grease and flour jelly roll pan 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch. Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour batter into pan. Mix remaining ingredients. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto batter. Cut through batter with knife or metal spatula several times for marbled effect. Sprinkle with additional chocolate chips and chopped nuts if desired. Bake until cake springs back when touched lightly in center or when wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean 25 to 30 minutes.
