Low Fat Devils Food Cookies 1/4 cup Margarine -- softened 1/2 cup Buttermilk, at room temperature 1 teaspoon Vanilla 2 Egg whites, whipped 1 1/2 cups Unbleached flour 1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted 2/3 cup Granulated sugar 1 teaspoon Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon Salt 2 teaspoons Powdered sugar, sifted

Instructions: Preheat oven at 350ºF. Prepare baking sheets with cooking spray. In a mixing bowl, combine margarine, buttermilk, vanilla , and egg whites. In another mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients just until moistened.
