Easy Apple Torte
 
 4 tablespoons Soft butter
 1 Egg
 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
 1 cup Sugar
 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
 1 cup Flour
 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
 1/8 teaspoon Salt
 3 apples, peeled and cored

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Butter a 9" cake pan. Cream together sugar and butter. Add egg and beat until light and fluffy. Sift flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Stir in apple pieces. Turn into pan and spread smoothly. Bake for one hour and allow to cool for a few minutes and serve warm.
